Stuffed Beef’s Heart
Wash the heart and remove all muscular portion inside. Wash with vinegar and rub with red pepper and spice, set aside over night. Prepare an ordinary bread dressing and sew up the openings. Slowly cover with boiling water in which is an onion cut fine and bay leaf. Stew slowly for two hours. Then transfer to buttered earthen dish and bake two hours. ; To obtain best results with these Recipes the materials should be of the best quality. Dauth's Ninth St. Market deals in that kind only. ⧉
