E W Reed, the jeweler, is getting material on the ground for a temporary frame building 16x26 to be erected on his recent purchase. This will be supplanted next year by a two story brick with 50 feet front, to be built by Mr. Dauth and himself. These gentlemen were very fortunate in securing these lots for their building, as they are considered among the best business lots in town; and it is indeed a gratifying evidence of prosperity that they are compelled to have more commodious quarters. ⧉
