1884-10-09 – Fort Collins Courier – Louis Dauth Potato Exhibit


There is on exhibition at Dauth & Annis' store, a sample of potatoes grown in Johnson county, Wyoming. The tubers are very large and handsome, and were raised by Mr. Chapin, who is an old Coloradoan, near Buffalo, the crop yiedling 400 bushels to the acre. forty potatoes taken from the same field weighted 120 pounds.
