Construction information for the building on 809 9th Street that would house George and Florence Dauth's businesses. ⧉

It Will Be Built on Ninth Street This Fall, Arrangements were completed Saturday morning where under Henry M. Williams will erect a handsome two-story brick bulding on the lots between the new Sutor building and the new remodeled Lofgren building at the corner of Eight avenue and Ninth street. The lower story of the building will have two store rooms, one to be occupied by George Dauth and Charles Waite with a fine meat market. The other part of the building will be occupied by Mrs. Dauth's millinery store. Until the completion of the new building, where work will be commenced at once., Messrs Dauth and Wwite will occupy the Lofgren building, which is now nearly completed. In the meantime, Mrs. Dauth will retain her store at the corner of Ninth avenue and Seventh street. The New building according to the plans, is to be an almost exact duplicate in size and shpae of the Hawes building erected for Levi Brothers on Main Street the past summer. The ground is at present occupied by the Elite restaurant. This will be torn down and moved away. The estimated cost of the new building will be $16,00. A five years' lease has be taken on the new building by the parties mentioned. ⧉
