Teachers Students Are National Guardsmen
Company “M”, 157th Infantry of the Colorado National Guard, located at Greeley, Colo., is composed mostly of Colorado Teachers College men, according to Dick Hobson, top sergeant of the company. The outfit a machine gun company, drills every Tuesday night at 7:30 at the armory on Eight avenue. The drills consist of squad and company movements, machine gun drills and tactics, and pistol drill. The gun range, located seventeen miles east of Greeley, is owned by the United States government and is maintained for the exclusive use of guardsmen. George Irvin, of the extension department, is the captain and George Dauth, Jr. is second lieutenant of the company. ⧉
