Forbes Tire Service is among the first local firms to get a basketball team into the field for independent competition this season. The outfit promises to be a leading one for this section with Merle Ogle, John Milholland, George Dauth, Jr., Ben Peyton, Carl Johnson, Merlo and Ray Dorsett on the roster.
