Greeley. - George Dauth, Jr., 27, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Dauth of Greeley, died at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday morning at the Greeley hospital, his death coming suddenly after apparent excellent progress following an operation for appendicitis, and pneumonia. Dauth was graduated form Greeley High school in 1924, after an active four years of athletics participation. He was center on the 1922 state basketball championship team of the high school. He was all conference guard in football one year. He attended Teachers college for two years and was a forward on the team when Teachers won the conference championship. He has lately been Baab and Dauth grocery market. Dauth was first lieutenant in National Guard here. ⧉
