Fred Dauth, 62, Former Lodge Owner At Meeker, Is Dead
Fred Dauth, 62, a resident of Palisade for two years and previously owner of the Ripple Creek Lodge near Trapper's Lake in the Meeker area, area died early today at Veterans Hospital. ; He had been ill for about two months. ; A native of Denver, Mr. Dauth was born on Feb. 28, 1897, and spent his childhood there. He served in the Navy during World War I. He was a member of the American Legion at Meeker. ; A brother, Phillip Dauth, lives in Denver. ; McLean's Mortuary of Palisade will be in charge of funeral arrangements. ⧉
