1944-12-20 – Obituary Of Louis Dauth ⧉

Word was received here today that Louis Dauth, 92, resident of Colorado for 70 years and early day resident of this city died Wednesday in a Denver convalescent home. Mr. Dauth, a native of Germany, came to the United States 74 years ago. He lived in Fort Collins from 1877 to 1887 when he moved to Denver. He leaves his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Irene E. Haviland of Denver; one son. Herman L. Dauth of Bolivia; a sister, Mrs. Lena Fitting of Denver; a brother, George Dauth of Greeley, four granddaughters; two grandsons; a great-greatdaugther, and a niece whom he and Mrs. Dauth had raised from infancy. The funeral will be held at 2:30 p. m. tomorrow in Denver. ⧉
