The wrecked sedan which George Dauth, 77, of 1731 Eleventh avenue, Greeley, was driving when he was struck and killed by a train at Evans Monday morning is shown above. The automobile was carried 800 feet north of the site of impact. It was dislodged from the front of the locomotive when it caught upon a signal tower, shown in the right of the picture. Dauth's body fell from the wrecked car 300 feet from the point where the locomotive struck the car squarely. Photo by Leon Olson of Tribune. ⧉
