1954-10-28 – Obituary of Florence Dauth ⧉

Mrs. Florence May Dauth, 76, a resident of Greeley since 1900, died Thursday morning at the Weld County Nursing home. She had been a patient there since Dec. 15. Mrs. Dauth's home was at 1731 Eleventh avenue. Her son, Leslie L. Dauth, lives at 1113 Eighteenth street. Born Sept. 15, 1878 at Bancroft, Neb., Mrs. Dauth operated a millinery store, where J. V. Smith and Son is located, when she first came to Greeley. She was married to George Dauth Sept. 3 1903 in Denver. He was killed in 1946. Mrs. Dauth was a member of Park Congregational church. Beside her son, she is survived by two grandchildren, Leslie Ann and Jerry D. Dauth, both of Greeley; a sister, Mrs. Ivy Lewis of Greeley; and two brothers, Bert Yeaton of Dallas, Tex., and Alfred Yeaton of El Reno, Okla. Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Saturday morning from Macy's drawing room, with interment at Linn Grove. Friends may make memorial donations to the Cancer fund in lieu of flowers. ⧉
