Six Gold Basketballs Presented to Cage Champs Last Evening by Cooper at Letter-mens's Meeting

In appreciation of the championship honors which the 1926 basketball squad brought to Colorado Teachers College, Coach George E. Cooper presented to six players at a meeting of Bear letter-men last night small gold basketballs. The emblems are the gift of the college. Last year the championship baseball team received gold baseballs presented by Ed Boelter, prominent sport fan among Greeley business men. The Bear cagers who received the gold balls last night were: Captain George Glidden, Lester Piper, Osborne Johnson, Pete Brown, Jack Mashburn, and George Dauth, Jr.
